    This Privacy Policy sets forth the collection, use and disclosure of personal data or personally identifiable information (“Personal Data”) and other information by Paid Club in connection with Paid Club's Services (as defined herein). Paid Club's Services provide you with the opportunity to join a Panel (as defined herein), participate in surveys (whether as a Panel member or a non-Panel member), use the websites associated with the Panels, download and user the Paid Club Mobile Application, and receive and redeem rewards and incentives, including, without limitation, sweepstakes entries, offered in connection with Panel membership and/or the completion of surveys (collectively “Services”). Registration with, use of, and access to Paid Club's Services and the Paid Club Mobile Application are subject to Paid Club's Panel Terms and Conditions.

    Your use of Paid Club's Services is completely voluntary and therefore Paid Club's processing of your Personal Data in connection with the Services and this Privacy Policy is with your consent. Paid Club strives to conform its privacy practices to applicable laws, codes, and regulations. For clarification, except for Panels that have a separate privacy policy, this Privacy Policy applies to all of Paid Club's survey research Panels, including, without limitation, Paid Club (each a “Panel” and collectively the “Panels”). This Privacy Policy applies to the information you provide to us when you visit PaidClub.com (the “Website”) or participate in any Paid Club panel or subpanel (“Panel”), or download and install the Paid Club Mobile Application. By using this Website, any of the services offered on or through the Website, or the Paid Club Mobile Application, you are agreeing that you have read, understand, and accept the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Information You Provide

We collect information from Panel members during and after registration, including, without limitation, during participation in a survey and in connection with the receipt and redemption of rewards and incentives. Information may be collected in various ways, including inquiry forms, registration forms, surveys, and contests. Paid Club collects additional data included in your member profile you submit voluntarily. When you sign up for a Panel you will be asked to provide certain Personal Data and demographic information, including but not limited to your name, address, telephone numbers, email address, date of birth, racial and gender information.

In addition to the collection of Personal Data mentioned above, during and subsequent to the registration process, you may be asked to voluntarily provide or disclose Sensitive Data. “Sensitive Data” means Personal Data that discloses or reveals health and medical conditions, sexual orientation or sexual life, political opinions/views, race/ethnic origin, religious and philosophical beliefs and trade-union membership. Sensitive Data is used to target survey opportunities to you. You may refuse to answer certain questions or discontinue participation at any time.

When you join a Panel, we ask you to provide us with information such as your name, telephone number, and email address. We may use this information to send you a test email or text message, or make a test call and to confirm your identity. If you use Facebook to sign up, Facebook may share some of the information that you have provided to them with us. When you participate in surveys, you may be asked for your personal opinions, as well as demographic information, such as your age, type of job, and household composition.

We may also collect your telephone number in order to better facilitate your use of the Services. By way of example, and without any limitation, we may use your telephone number to identify you, or to send you reminders or other information, via voice or text message, about Surveys you have participated in, or about future Survey or other opportunities. We will not use your telephone number for sales or marketing purposes. By giving us your telephone number, you expressly consent to receive a phone call or a text message from us. For information on how to opt out of telephone communications, see the “How to Opt Out” section below.

When you redeem points, we may ask you to provide us with additional information in order to transfer rewards to your PayPal account or initiate ACH transfers to your bank through third-party Dwolla. The information requested may include: PayPal email address, bank account holder's name, bank account number, bank routing number, and bank account type. If you earn more than a certain amount of money on Paid Club, we may be required by law to mail you a form to obtain your social security number, and send you a form with your name, social security number, and amount of money we have paid you for government tax reporting purposes.

In order to provide high quality service and to protect our members and the Website, we take steps to make sure that Paid Club members provide honest and accurate information about themselves and to all survey questions to the best of their ability. These steps may include sending you a text message or email to confirm your contact information or asking you to provide personal information through security questions to help us verify your identity before you can redeem your points for rewards. Please contact support if you have any questions.

Information Collected Through Automated Means

We may also collect certain information automatically, such as information about: (i) your device or computer and its capabilities, including, but not limited to, the operating system, IP address, device carrier, device type, time zone, network status, browser type, browser identifier, location and other information that alone or in combination may be used to uniquely identify your device or computer; and (ii) your activities in connection with Paid Club Services, including, without limitation, survey data and responses, and reward, incentive, and/or sweepstakes information. We also collect information about you through the Paid Club Mobile Application including clicks, user actions and interactions, metadata, change states, and other actions through the SJ mobile app. Specific examples of this information, and the technology that collects it, are below:

Cookies: Cookies are small information packets sent by web servers to web browsers, and stored by the web browsers. The information is then sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server, which enables a web server to identify and track web browsers. Web Cookie: Web cookies to track the use of this website from the same browser on the same machine. This information will be stored and used anytime we see the same browser.

Digital Fingerprinting: Generally, digital fingerprinting assigns a unique identifier to your device or computer based upon the device’s or computer’s technical settings, characteristics and IP Address. We use digital fingerprinting technology for quality control and validation purposes and fraud detection and/or prevention, including, but not limited to, identifying duplicate or fraudulent respondents.

Do Not Track: We allow third-party companies to collect certain non-personally identifiable information when you visit our web site. These companies may utilize cookies, pixels or other technologies to collect and use non-personally identifiable information (e.g., hashed data, click stream information, browser type, time and date, subject of advertisements clicked or scrolled over) during your visits to this and other web sites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services likely to be of greater interest to you. In addition to other purposes set forth in this Privacy Policy, we use information collected through Paid Club Services and the Paid Club Mobile Application as follows: (i) to communicate with you regarding your membership with a Panel; (ii) to communicate with you regarding your participation in a survey(s); (iii) to tailor survey opportunities to you; (iv) to send you notifications of survey opportunities; (v) to comply with any and all legal obligations, including, without limitation, tax obligations; (vi) to administer and manage our reward and incentive programs and fulfill your requests for rewards and incentives; (vii) to facilitate your entry into sweepstakes and promotions and communicate with you regarding such entries (viii) to update our records; (ix) to comply with any data suppression obligations or requirements; (x) for identity verification and fraud detection and/or prevention purposes; and (xi) as otherwise permitted under to this Privacy Policy or as otherwise authorized by you.

Furthermore, when you use the Paid Club Mobile Application, we collect information to identify you as a user of our Services. The Paid Club Mobile Application collects information on your online activity, such as visiting websites and using other mobile applications, and analyzes your information to build an individual profile to help us build and improve our Services.

Communications You Will Receive

We or our agents, processors, vendors or subcontractors may contact you at (818) 459-4330 or communicate with you as follows via email communications for the purpose of: (i) sending you survey invitations, (ii) communicating with you regarding your survey participation (past, present and/or future),(iii) communicating with you regarding reward or incentive information, inquiries, and redemption, (iv) communicating with you regarding sweepstakes or prize draw promotions, (v) sending you newsletters, (vi) sending you notices required to be provided under this privacy policy or required by law, (vii) communicating with you regarding promotions, (viii) responding to inquiries received from you, and (ix) sending you communications to confirm your identity and for fraud detection and prevention purposes.

By agreeing to become a Panel member, you agree to receive invitations to participate in surveys. You may unsubscribe from Panel membership at any time, see “How to Opt Out" below.

How we Share Personal Information and Other Information Collected with Third Parties

We may disclose personal information and other information collected to third parties as follows:

  1. With your consent, other than your consent to the processing and sharing described in this Privacy Policy and specifically this section.
  2. Under applicable law or in response to a subpoena or an order of a court or government agency.
  3. To establish, exercise, or defend legal claims of an individual or Paid Club.
  4. To establish or exercise our legal rights.
  5. If we believe disclosure is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activity, suspected fraud or other wrongdoing.
  6. To protect and defend the rights, property, or safety of our company, our employees, our users, or others; or to enforce Panel terms of use or other agreements or policies.

To authorized agents and/or vendors and subcontractors and clients, partners, who are providing services, including, without limitation, data append services, data validation services, fraud detection and/or prevention services, database-matching services, coding services, data segmentation services, and reward, and incentive related services, as well as market research partners that provide surveys.
  9. Your information may be shared with third parties in aggregate form. Aggregated data does not include personally identifiable information. This means that your survey responses may be combined with the responses of others who participate in surveys and those gathered responses are reported to the third party that commissioned the study.

How Your Privacy Is Protected

We use the latest security measures to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of data. Access to all user information is restricted. Web servers and databases are housed and maintained in secure locations and protected by firewalls. We pride ourselves on updating and maintaining our security and privacy practices to ensure that your personal information remains protected at all times.

Special Note About Minors

We adhere to applicable laws and industry codes pertaining to the protection of privacy of minors. Our Services are not designed or intended for use by any individual under the age of sixteen (16) and we do not knowingly collect Personal Data from anyone under the age of sixteen (16). If we become aware that we inadvertently collect Personal Data from anyone under this age threshold, we will promptly delete such Personal Data. Paid Club Mobile Application

The Paid Club Mobile Application is a survey and data collection application used to conduct research to understand consumer attitudes and behavior (“Research“) when installed on a consumer’s mobile phone or device. By downloading the Paid Club Mobile Application, you (“you“ or “Participant“) hereby expressly agree that the Terms and Privacy Policy constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Paid Club (“Paid Club“ or “we“), and comply with, and be bound by, these Terms and Privacy Policy. If at any time you do not want to be bound by the Terms and Privacy Policy, you can uninstall the Paid Club Mobile Application from your mobile device. We may continue to use and share the information that you previously provided, as described in this agreement.

Information Collected

The Paid Club Mobile Application collects and uses personal information that you provide to us including your name, address, telephone number, email address, and payment information, for example, to participate in surveys, to receive payment and incentives, and to receive support services.

We automatically collect and use device and usage analytics information such as IP address, unique device identifiers, device or session IDs, network and connected hardware information, type of browser and operating system, and other mobile applications installed on your mobile device.

With your permission, we may collect and use geolocation information through GPS, WiFi, and cellular triangulation to provide location tracking services. You will receive prior notice and will be asked for consent before your geolocation information is collected. If you do not want to provide your geolocation information through the Paid Club Mobile Application, you may use the settings available on your mobile device to limit the sharing of geolocation data at any time.

We collect, use, and share mobile browsing information on your mobile device in connection with websites, mobile websites, browser applications, and third-party mobile applications such as clickstream data, browsing history, the pages viewed and the time spent, links clicked, and conversion information, to track your online behavior over time and across different websites understand your online preferences and interests.

Use of Information

We use the information that is collected from and provided by you to gain insights on your behavior to understand your preferences and interests. The information may be combined with other personal information about you that we receive from third parties. The information is used to provide you with personalized survey opportunities on behalf of third parties conducting surveys to improve their products, services, and advertising. We monitor your usage and trends for analytics, quality control, and validation purposes, as well as to maintain, improve, and develop our services.

Sharing of Information

We may share the information we collect, including your personal information, with our partners and clients to provide and improve our services such as the provision of relevant surveys and for future business planning. In addition, we may share information to third party service providers to operate our services such as processing payments, performing business operations on our behalf, support services, and authentication services.

California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides California residents with certain rights relating to their personal information. This section describes your CCPA rights and how to exercise any of those rights by submitting a verifiable consumer request. Only you, or a person that you authorize to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request twice in a twelve (12) month period. The verifiable consumer request must provide requested information that allows us to reasonably verify that you are the person about whom we collected personal information. You will not be required to create an account to submit a verifiable consumer request.
